We want every child and family to be able to use gisellechanel.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnifiers, or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is a goal we work toward, not a certification.

What we’ve built in

• Pages work with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines.
• Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Text and buttons are designed for readable color contrast.
• Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
• GC Academy offers read-aloud, adjustable text size, line spacing, and a reading ruler. Feedback never relies on color alone.
• Timed activities, like Beat the Clock, are always optional.

Known limits

• Some games, such as Style Studio dress-up, rely on dragging and visuals. We provide tap-to-choose controls where we can.
• Videos are hosted on YouTube and TikTok. Captions depend on those services.
